Titus Welliver and Juani Feliz are being eyed to lead a potential spin-off of CBS’s The Equalizer.

It was announced in November 2024 that CBS’ The Equalizer will introduce two new characters in Episode 516 that could then go on to anchor their own spin-off series. The Equalizer is a reboot of the 1980s series of the same name and stars Queen Latifah.

What do we know about Titus Welliver and Juani Feliz’s characters in the world of The Equalizer?

Per Deadline, it has been confirmed that Welliver and Feliz will both appear in Episode 516 of The Equalizer. Welliver will play a character named Hudson Reed, who is a CIA operative with a mysterious connection to Robin McCall, while Feliz has been cast as Samantha Reed, who is a weapons expert and skilled martial artist.

“Both Welliver and Feliz have been cast as guest stars with series regular options for the potential spin-off,” Deadline’s article notes.

Welliver is best known for playing the title role in Amazon Prime Video’s Bosch and Bosch: Legacy. He also played Silas Adams in Deadwood and Jimmy O’Phelan in Sons of Anarchy. In film, Welliver recently voiced Rorschach in the two animated Watchmen movies released last year. He’s additionally starred in movies such as 2005’s Assault on Precinct 13, 2007’s Gone Baby Gone, 2010’s The Town, 2012’s Argo, 2014’s Transformers: Age of Extinction, 2018’s Escape Plan 2: Hades, and more.

Feliz is known for playing Isabela Benitez-Santiago in Amazon Prime Video’s Harlem series. She has been in movies such as 2016’s The Purge: Election Year, 2018’s Canal Street, and 2024’s Civil War.

Joseph C. Wilson will serve as an executive producer on The Equalizer spin-off series, should CBS decide to move forward with the project. Episode 516 of The Equalizer, which is written by Wilson, will air this spring.
