The genius of Avicii is echoing louder than ever in 2025 as his timeless catalog has surged back into the charts following the release of Netflix’s documentary Avicii – I’m Tim.

As if drawn by the emotional pull of his story, fans worldwide have reignited their love for Avicii’s music, bringing five of his hits into the top 10 of Billboard’s Dance Digital Song Sales chart: “Without You,” “Hey Brother,” “Levels,” “Wake Me Up” and “The Nights.”

The late artist, whose real name was Tim Bergling, now posthumously holds half of the chart’s top spots.

Several of Avicii’s singles have seen explosive resurgences following the release of Avicii – I’m Tim. The poignant film chronicles Bergling’s rise, struggles with mental health and the personal sacrifices behind his trailblazing career. It released in tandem with Avicii – My Last Show, which revisits the night he DJed at Ibiza’s iconic Ushuaïa club for what would be his final performance.

Streaming platforms have also seen a meteoric rise in Avicii’s music consumption since the documentary’s release. His global streaming numbers surged by a staggering 63.9%, with hits like “Wake Me Up,” “Hey Brother” and “The Nights” experiencing the most significant growth, according to Billboard.

Remarkably, Avicii currently reaches over 41 million monthly listeners on Spotify, making him the platform’s 83rd most-streamed artist at the time of this writing.
