Dr. Oz’s Granddaughter Collapses In Oval Office, Trump’s Reaction Revealed

It was supposed to be a picture-perfect moment for the Oz family inside the Oval Office, until things took a frightening turn.

Dr. Mehmet Oz, the celebrity surgeon-turned-political appointee, had just been sworn in as the new administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Services by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. when his 11-year-old granddaughter, Philomena Jovanovic, suddenly collapsed in front of President Trump, cutting the momentous event short and sending shockwaves through the room.

Video footage shows the shocking moment the young girl fainted just as Trump was responding to a question about Iran’s nuclear program. Dr. Oz, a trained physician, immediately rushed to help as chaos erupted inside the Oval Office.

White House aides began yelling at the press to leave, fast.

“Thank you press, get out right now!” one staffer is heard shouting.

“No photos!” another added, as reporters were hustled out.

Despite the scare, Philomena quickly bounced back, thanks in part to some presidential TLC and a post-fainting treat. Her mom, Daphne Oz, took to Instagram with an update.

“Thank you to everyone checking in on Philo after her big day in the Oval Office [praying hands emoji] [red heart emoji],” she wrote. “We are so grateful it was nothing serious, and she bounced right back, with a trip for some delicious Navy Mess soft serve for good measure!!”

Daphne also praised the president’s reaction to the incident, sharing, “Thank you to the incredible White House team and medical staff who were so kind to her. Most of all, thank you to President Trump who went out of his way to make both our children feel comfortable in a stressful situation.”

She added, “He was exceedingly warm, caring and generous as he spent personal time with each of them at the Resolute Desk and gifted them treasures to take home. A more than memorable day at the White House for all of us!!”

Daphne went on to express how proud she is of her family, as her dad was “sworn in as CMS Administrator with the task of helping all Americans access the health we deserve.”

“I am always in awe of the myriad ways he has found to truly help and save lives, first as a cardio thoracic surgeon, then on his TV show, which for many became an invaluable resource in helping us become experts in our own bodies and a part of the conversation,” she added. “This next chapter is a huge undertaking to help every American regain their hope for health, the best data, the best care, the best outcomes, and I am rooting for all of us. Love you, Dad! [red heart emoji].”

Philomena’s scary moment was soon overshadowed by Trump’s freewheeling press conference, which had already gone off the rails before Philomena’s collapse.

The president fielded rapid-fire questions about Russia, Ukraine, and Iran, and at one point praised a conservative reporter for a spicy question involving margaritas, El Salvador, and Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen.

“I like this guy, see now this is the kind of a reporter we like, there aren’t enough of them,” Trump said before answering the question about Van Hollen, who represents Maryland.

“No, look, he’s a fake,” he said. “I know him. I know them all. They’re fake. They have no interest in that prisoner.”

He also reignited his feud with Democrats and the media, defending his stance on illegal immigration and referring to the war in Ukraine as “Biden’s war.”

“No, nobody’s playing me, I’m trying to help. This is Biden’s war,” the president answered.

As for Iran? Trump warned, “If they have a nuclear weapon, you’ll all be very unhappy… because your life will be in great danger.”

“But with the with Iran, with Iran, they can’t have a nuclear weapon, and if they have a nuclear weapon, you’ll all be very unhappy,” the president said. “You all be very unhappy since your lifetime, because your life will be in great danger.”
