Megyn Kelly Makes Bizarre Claim Meghan Markle ‘Killed The Queen’

In what appears to be her harshest critique yet, the media personality accused Meghan of being a “bully” and a “nightmare behind the scenes,” even going so far as to claim the Duchess of Sussex “killed the Queen.”

Megyn Kelly had previously criticized Meghan Markle when the US-based royal called herself a feminist.

In a scathing new outburst, conservative commentator  Kelly launched a blistering attack on Meghan, which included an incendiary claim suggesting the duchess was involved in Queen Elizabeth’s death.

Kelly made the remark during a recent episode of her podcast, which featured Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy as a guest.

The two had been chatting about Meghan’s latest interview with Jamie Kern Lima on Lima’s podcast, an appearance where the duchess shared many heartfelt revelations about herself and her family.

However, midway through Portnoy trying to explain his views on the Royal Family, Kelly interjected with the inflammatory comment, “Another thing, she killed the Queen,” per the Daily Mail.

For some reason, Portnoy chuckled at the suggestion rather than expressing shock at how inflammatory it was.

He then agreed with Kelly, saying, “She did kill the Queen,” and moved on with the conversation.

Adding to her criticism of Meghan, Kelly fingered the former “Suits” star as a “bully” who was a toxic boss to all of the female staff that has worked with her since she became a royal.

“She’s a bully, all the young women who worked for her quit in tears, she wore them down, she was so nasty,” Kelly argued vehemently.

The female critic also claimed that Meghan’s behavior did not change when she started her own company and that people have begun to make similar complaints about the mother of two.

“Then when she started her own company, similar reports were coming out from Montecito that nobody can work for her, she’s a nightmare behind the scenes,” Kelly said, referencing Meghan’s recently launched brand, As Ever.

Last year, Kelly also delivered a scathing criticism of Meghan when she called herself a feminist.

The feminist remark was seen on the site Meghan had launched with her husband, a replacement for the previous one that they had.

“Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex is a feminist and champion of human rights and gender equity,” read Meghan’s profile on the site. “Her lifelong advocacy for women and girls remains a constant thread in her humanitarian and business ventures.”

Taking the statement apart, Kelly said it was unlikely the duchess is a feminist due to the number of female staff she has chased out with her tantrums and tirades.

“How is that in any way a feminist trying to lift up the young women? She wants us to believe that she would never, and she only lifts up the young women,” Kelly noted, per the Daily Mail.

Kelly isn’t the only one to have dished out heavy criticism towards Meghan in recent weeks.

Tina Brown, the biographer for her mother-in-law, has also had some strong words for Meghan in the wake of her brand launch.

The former editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair slammed the mother of two as “desperate for attention” and said that her “problem is just that she is so ADD.”

Brown went on to suggest Meghan is “devoid of self-confidence” while trying to explain the possible reason behind the duchess’ multiple new business ventures.

“If she’d simply succeeded at one thing, and then done another thing, she’d be in a much, much better place,” the Princess Diana biographer further critiqued Meghan. “But she’s enormously shallow in her approach to the work she does.”

“What I hear from everyone is that she’s unadvisable, and that is the issue,” she added. “She’s worn out her advisory circle, who just feel like, well, what’s the point? She’s not going to do it.”

Amid the several harsh criticisms, Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, recently got some support from world-renowned chef, José Andrés.

In a chat with Page Six, Andrés expressed confusion over the constant criticism targeted at the Sussexes since they stepped back from their royal duties and moved to the U.S.

He defended the duo, calling them an “amazing couple” and noting that he only wants to” talk about the good things that they do.”

The chef then pointed out that Harry and Meghan could have chosen to be “in their own cave and do nothing” after leaving royal life, but they are using their platforms “to bring voice and life to issues.”

Giving context to his remarks, Andrés recalled how Harry and Meghan assisted the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires.

“When they were in LA during the fires, they were genuinely in the fires,” the non-profit ceo added. “When the cameras were not rolling, they were there listening to people, and they made them feel like the most important person in the world.”
