As Summer House season 9 approaches its conclusion, many cast members have begun teasing the reunion. Naturally, this includes West Wilson as he recently shared a bit of what fans can expect, as well as provided a few thoughts on his cast members, including why Imrul Hassan wasn’t in the post-reunion pictures with the rest of the men from the cast.

As fans know, West is in his second season on the hit Bravo show. Though he quickly became a fan favorite, West found himself in a bit of drama this season over Jesse Solomon claiming he and Lexi Wood were flirting. Jesse has since denied this.

Recently, West appeared on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast to discuss this season of Summer House and the reunion. The first topic that came up was how Jesse handled the drama with Lexi as it played out on the show.

West said, “I guess, you know, it’s up to you guys to decide if he handled himself well or not.” West was then asked whether Jesse had more to answer for at the reunion compared to his own situation from Season 8. He responded, “Maybe a little, but like I’ll just say it was less. I think he could walk out of the room with his head up.”

The hosts then asked West if he felt that Lexi was supported at the reunion or if she was on an island to herself. He explained what went down by saying, “There are moments for both, I would say. I will say in her defense, like she’s so articulate and well spoken that, like, I think she could hold her own in any situation ever. We’ve already seen her kind of like in her chats one-on-one with Jesse or in group settings.”

West went on, “She like doesn’t need help at all. But yeah, there’s like so many weird complexities to this situation. But I will say like she was certainly like leading the charge.”

The topic of Jesse and Ciara Miller then arose, and the hosts wanted to know if West felt they had something real. According to him, “Yeah, part of it, I think he, Jesse, like trolls, like half of everything he posts is like a troll job. But they, I’ve gotten the question obviously a lot, they behaved that way while Ciara and I were getting to know each other last summer. So to me, it’s never, I never thought of it as romantic.”

He added, “I guess maybe, like I’m in no place to tell either of them like what to do. But I just haven’t seen it that way because it’s felt the same since like the beginning of our first summer, if that makes sense.” From there, the hosts brought up how Lexi said in an interview that neither Jesse nor Ciara came to her birthday party, to which West says, “That was talked about at the reunion, actually. That specific interview.” West went on, “Ciara had words about that specific messaging. So I’ll let them have it out because I wasn’t a part of either side.

He added, “That birthday clip is fully hashed out.” Next, they discuss Imrul and how West has supported him more than the other Summer House castmates have. Of course, the hosts brought up how he didn’t attend the post-reunion dinner with the other guys. Regarding why, West revealed, “We left at separate times, like, so that like the reunion had different, like, call times, sleep times, I guess, for people. And he was, he had like left the studio before we left.”

He went on, “That was just like, we just snuck out and went to go get a burger. I mean, I wish he was there, but yeah. I texted him after and said, like, we, I should have sent you a text, that’s my bad. But it like, he was already gone, like he’d been gone for two, like an hour or two. And we just walked over from the studio.”

Fans can watch new episodes of Summer House on Wednesday nights.
