Ashley Jacobs offered an update on where she stands with ex-boyfriend Thomas Ravenel on her Instagram Story on Monday.
Years after her last appearance on Southern Charm, Ashley, 40, who has since started a family with husband Mike Appel and moved from Charleston, South Carolina, to Santa Barbara, California, posted a throwback photo of herself and Thomas, 62, in honor of Cinco De Mayo.
“[Eight] years I’ve known this guy [Thomas Ravenel] … Happy we’re still friends to this day!!!” Ashley declared in the caption of her May 5 post, which included an image of herself and Thomas from May 2017.
As Southern Charm fans will recall, Ashley and Thomas dated for about a year and a half before splitting in 2018. Throughout their relationship, Ashley was known to feud with Thomas’ former girlfriend, Kathryn Dennis, 33, who was also featured on the show.
Following her run on the series, Ashley began dating Mike in 2019, and she went on to get engaged to the clothing brand owner in March 2021. Then, after their wedding in June 2021, the couple welcomed their first child, son Grayson Maxwell, in August 2021.
Three years later, in November 2024, Ashley and Mike welcomed baby number two.
“First Thanksgiving as four. Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours,” Ashley and Mike wrote in the caption of an Instagram photo of themselves with their two sons at the time.
Ashley Jacobs was featured on Southern Charm season five as a “friend” and on season six as a guest.
