A bride was reportedly gunned down at her wedding while her groom and a 13-year-old boy were among those left injured.

More Details On The Bride Gunned Down At Her Wedding
According to The Sun, on Sunday, June 22, cops were called to the Vaucluse venue in Goult, France. A shooting reportedly broke out around 4:30 a.m. Furthermore, it was reported that a gang of four hooded individuals arrived at the location in a Volkswagen vehicle. They reportedly opened fire on the bride and groom as the couple was leaving the ceremony.
“A vehicle pulled in behind them, blocking their way, with a number of hooded individuals on board. These people then got out of the vehicle and started shooting in the direction of the victims, with what appear to be have been various different kinds of weapons,” prosecutors stated, per CNN.
One of the attackers was reportedly run over by the couple as they exited. However, amid the ordeal, the bride was fatally shot. Per CBS News, the bride was 27 years old, and she and the groom wed at the location on Saturday, June 21.

Per the outlet, the groom, a woman, and a 13-year-old boy were left injured from the attack. Furthermore, their injuries were noted as serious but non-life-threatening. To note, The Sun reported that the 13-year-old was the bride and groom’s son. However, the validity of the detail remains unclear.
CBS News reports that a source informed the outlet the shooting could be related to a “possible drug-related score-settling.”
“I’m ruling nothing out. Absolutely nothing. We’re close to towns, I won’t name them, where unfortunately, we’ve already seen this kind of thing before,” Goult Mayor Didier Perello reportedly told the press.
As of Monday, June 23, two of the assailants have reportedly been apprehended, per the outlet. According to CNN, the bride and groom have yet to be publicly identified.
A Woman In Florida Was Charged After Shooting Her Ex’s Female Passenger
The fatal shooting of the bride in France is not the only shooting to make headlines. As The Shade Room previously reported, in February, A Florida woman was charged with tracking down her ex-boyfriend and fatally shooting his female passenger.
At the time, it was reported that the man had broken up with the woman days earlier. Ultimately, the incident left his female passenger deceased.
