Miami-based electronic music event organizer We Belong Here is significantly expanding its New York presence, announcing two separate three-day festivals that will transform both Brooklyn’s waterfront and Manhattan’s Central Park in October 2025.

The surging festival brand, which launched back in 2021, will debut its first Brooklyn event at Greenpoint Waterfront from October 3-5, followed by its second annual Central Park festival at Wollman Rink from October 10-12.

We Belong Here’s 2024 Central Park debut was one of the year’s top dance music festivals, bringing FISHER, Kaskade and more to the storied Wollman ice rink. The success of that event appears to have emboldened organizers to double their NY footprint, capitalizing on the city’s dance music scene and iconic skyline backdrops.

The venture offers electronic music enthusiasts two distinct experiences within a single week. The back-to-back scheduling is an ambitious expansion for the boutique festival, which has built its reputation around intimate, scenic locations and oversized dancefloors. The festivals are also 21+ only, targeting what organizers describe as a “more mature and refined crowd.”

Both fests will maintain We Belong Here’s signature elements: 360° stages, spacious dancefloors and lineups mixing major touring acts with emerging local talent. Enhanced amenities include elevated food options curated by Smorgasburg, dedicated seating areas and surrealist art installations.

The expansion comes as We Belong Here approaches its fifth anniversary, with the brand emphasizing “intimate growth and meaningful impact.” Beyond the festivals, the company operates scholarship programs with Scratch Academy to support emerging DJs.
