Kid Cudi has claimed that he is not really interested in having other artists make guest appearances on his albums going forward.
Writing on social media, Cudi explained his reasoning: “No features, just me. I think im over features unless it happens organically. Theres people ive had on my albums that i havent talked to in years. Didnt promote the album, just went ghost.
“Makes me feel weird. So w this one, I was like, fuck that. I dont need anyone else on this one. Im enough to keep u engaged. Some people need features. Not me.”
Cudi’s next album, Free, is currently expected to land on August 22.

Cudder has had an eventful year, taking to the stand in Diddy’s sex trafficking trial.
Kid Cudi testified that Diddy broke into his house and injured his dog.
Cudi said that he received a phone call from Diddy after he found out he was dating Cassie where he said: “I’m over here waiting for you.”
Cudi then made his way home, only to find nobody in the house but his security cameras were not working and that intruders had gone through his belongings, including opening Christmas presents intended for his family.
Cudi further said that his dog had been injured in the incident and locked in the bathroom by the intruders.
The “Pursuit of Happiness” rapper added that after the incident his dog had become “jittery and on edge”.
Cudi described his feelings towards Diddy after the break in, saying: “I wanted to confront him, I wanted to fight him.”
The rapper and occasional actor also said that he filed a police report over the incident.
Cudi also testified that he believed Diddy was responsible for setting fire to his Porsche as retaliation for beginning a relationship with Cassie.
Diddy’s former assistant also alleged that the Bad Boy Records mogul once plotted to kill the rapper because of his affair with Cassie.
Cudi was subsequently criticized by Kanye West for his testimony and called a “rat” by Young Thug.
In response, Cudi would remove the controversial Atlanta rapper’s guest verse from his Insano album.
