Offset Shares Message After Hospital Release, Plans to Be Better

Eminem‘s Stans soundtrack is confirmed to include previously unreleased music from the rap legend’s vault.

The album to the documentary is set to be released on August 26 and in listings at music stores, the project will feature songs featured in the film as well as previously unreleased tracks from Eminem himself.

A tracklist for the album has yet to be released.

In the film, Eminem revealed that he once tried to buy back his childhood home.

Speaking in the documentary Stans, the rap legend revisits the site where the house once stood and said that he tried to purchase the property before it was demolished.

However, the attempt failed after the authorities had already condemned the building and it went on to be knocked down.

Speaking at the premiere for the movie which documents both Eminem’s career and the oft-obsessive nature of his fans, Em paid tribute to those who have supported him over the years.

Making an unannounced showing at the premiere in New York, Em said: “Let me tell you why this shit is crazy to me. Because, when I was writing the song ‘Stan,’ I think I was just understanding the impact that my music was having on some people. And it’s so crazy to me to look at, over my career, just the fact that I was able to impact people.”

He added: “I love you too. I’m trying to think of what the fuck I’m saying here… When I was writing this song I didn’t understand the impact my music was having on people at the time and it was really surreal to me, and it’s still surreal to this day to look out here and see all you and the fact that my music has inspired you. This film is a thank you to all of you for sticking by me for this whole fucking time.

“I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Stans is a documentary about both Eminem’s career and his unique relationship with fans and it features a number of talking heads including Dr. Dre, Adam Sandler and Jimmy Iovine.
