This is Tour Diary, where artists give us a behind-the-scenes look at life on the road. late night drive home started as a lo-fi garage band but soon flipped their love of 2000s indie rock into viral hits. After releasing their breakout track, the bilingual, lovelorn “Stress Relief,” it wasn’t long before the El Paso group were signed to Epitaph. Following last year’s wistful i’ll remember you for the same feeling you gave me as I slept EP, the band have stepped up with their debut album. as i watch my life online sees them turning their attention toward all things digital, exploring the ills of being extremely online. In July, the band launched a summer tour with Alexsucks, which wrapped with a show in Las Vegas last week. Fresh off the run, late night drive home took us through the highs and lows.
