Get your passport and wardrobe ready — Emily in Paris is back this holiday season, and this time, she’s trading the Eiffel Tower for Venetian canals.
Netflix has officially revealed that Season 5 of the hit romantic comedy will premiere on Thursday, December 18, with all 10 episodes available to stream at once. Alongside the release date announcement, the streamer also unveiled the first-look images, giving fans a glimpse of the stylish chaos and stunning new locale awaiting Emily Cooper.
This season brings a major change of scenery, as Emily (played by Lily Collins) heads to Venice, Italy, where she’s now leading the Rome branch of Agence Grateau. But la dolce vita doesn’t come without complications.
According to Netflix’s synopsis, Emily finds herself navigating both personal and professional turbulence as she settles into her new role. Just as it seems like she’s finally getting her footing, a bold idea at work backfires — sparking emotional fallout, strained relationships, and unexpected career roadblocks.
Determined to find her balance again, Emily begins to reconnect with her Parisian roots. But when a long-buried secret comes to light, it threatens to upend one of her closest bonds. Facing the challenges head-on, Emily is forced to reevaluate what — and who — really matters.
Season 5 promises more of the show’s signature blend of romance, ambition, friendship, and, of course, eye-popping fashion — now with a touch of Italian flair.
