In a new lawsuit, rapper Lil Uzi Vert and his label Roc Nation have been sued by a former assistant alleging sexual harassment and labor violations, also including the rapper’s girlfriend, City Girls alum, JT, born Jatavia Shakara Johnson.

According to online records, a Jane Doe filed her case against Lil Uzi, born Symere Bysil Woods, on October 20, 2025. The filing was submitted to the California Superior Court in Los Angeles County by Doe’s lawyer, Ellis George. The defendants include, Roc Nation LLC, Does 1 Through 10, Symere Bysil Woods D/B/A Lil Uzi Vert, and Uzivert LLC.
The formal claims include: Discrimination Claims, Employment Claims, Employment Discrimination Claims, Sexual Harassment, and Wage and Hour Claims. A summary of the case reveals that Roc Nation artist Lil Uzi Vert is accused of persistent sexual harassment through text messages and verbal comments.

Lil Uzi Vert Allegedly Sent Explicit Texts To Former Female Assistant
Additionally, the rapper is accused of forcing his former assistant to be available 24/7, while traveling throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia and Australia. The former assistant also claims that she worked 12-39 hour shifts without overtime pay. She also claims she paid business expenses out-of-pocket and was never reimbursed.
Doe also claims she reported the burnout and requested a performance review, as reportedly promised by Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez. However, she says management ignored her. Ultimately, the alleged hostile work environment and alleged drug-fueled retaliation, led to her constructive discharge (aka resignation) in April 2025.

Doe alleges Lil Uzi Vert sent explicit messages like:
“Come rub me down before you leave.”
“I’m by myself right now send me something.”
“You’re more than my assistant. You’re my b*tch.”
Doe is seeking compensatory and punitive damages from Roc Nation, Lil Uzi Vert, and his companies. The lawsuit cites she experienced emotional distress, financial loss, and systemic abuse tolerated by his management team. The parties are due in court on March 25, 2026, as of October 27.
