A baby girl believed to be one day old was found alive inside a toilet tank in Bangkok, Thailand, after a woman cleaning an office building heard her cries.
The shocking discovery took place on November 15, when a housekeeper working on the third floor of an office building in the Lat Krabang district heard muffled sounds coming from a bathroom. When the woman lifted the toilet lid, she was horrified to find the newborn stuffed inside the tank, which was half-filled with water. Authorities believe the baby was placed there moments after birth. Police believe the baby may have been delivered in the building before being hidden, though details remain under investigation.
