Celeste Rivas Hernandez Homicide: Medical Examiner May Rule Cause Of Death Undetermined Due To ‘Partially Frozen’ And Chopped Up Remains
According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner received Hernandez’s body “partially frozen” and dismembered. The latter was known at the beginning of the investigation. However, the “frozen” update arrives as the medical examiner continues having difficulty ruling the teen’s cause of death.
The coroner’s office may potentially rule Hernandez’s death undetermined due to her remains being discovered in “such bad condition.” It’s reported that the teen’s remains were thawing out while sitting in the trunk of D4vd’s Tesla.

Officials said they discovered Hernandez’s body in D4vd’s car decapitated. While her torso remained in tact, her limbs were removed and cut into multiple pieces. With all of her body parts discovered “partially frozen,” sources presume her remains sat in a freezer for some time before being placed in the Tesla trunk.
As we previously shared, Hernandez’s body was left in D4vd’s Tesla trunk. The car was left abandoned on a Hollywood Hills street near his rental home for several days. Eventually, the car was towed and impounded at Hollywood Tow. The car then sat for an additional set of days before workers discovered a smell and called police. Police found the bod in such bad condition, investigators couldn’t determine if it was male or female.

Despite the potential “undetermined” ruling, sources say police will still be able to move forward with an arrest in the case. The Los Angeles Police Department has officially ruled it a homicide since news broke of Hernandez’s remains discovery. Sources told TMZ that the LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division is investigating the case.
Sources also say D4vd — who owned the abandoned Tesla in which authorities found Hernandez’s body — remains a suspect in the case. Reportedly, police are also investigating a second suspect, who remains unnamed. However, this person is said to have been involved “before, during, and after” the Hernandez’s death. This person allegedly helped dismember her body.
