Mila Kunis discloses what parenting rule she and Ashton Kutcher follow
In a recent interview with Extra TV, the interviewer told Mila Kunis that he had read that she only did one film a year. The actress confirmed what the interviewer told her as he asked her why she chose to do only one movie in a year.
Before she could answer further, the interviewer asked if her choice had to do with her children. “Yeah, those damn kids,” she jokingly replied. The Friends With Benefits actress acknowledged that she was “really fortunate” when it came to exercising her choice. “I don’t take that for granted either,” she added.
Kunis said that she and Kutcher never work simultaneously, and when their children are in school. However, she shared that she would make an exception if her shoot didn’t take her outside Los Angeles, where her next project will be filmed in January.
The 42-year-old stressed that she and Kutcher strictly followed their parenting agreement. “We tag team in and out, but neither one of us is ever absent,” she said.
Kunis previously told PEOPLE that she only made movies when her children were not in school. In the same interview, she said she loved “the whole process” of being a parent.
Kutcher and Kunis have been open about their parenting and family life in various interviews. Notably, in an interview with E! News in 2023, Kutcher labeled his role as a father and husband his “dream role.” “My life is so good, I love my family so much. I love spending time with my kids. I love my wife so much,” he added.
