Sheesh! Nicki Minaj goes totally nuclear on California Governor Gavin Newsom after he finally breaks his silence amid her days-long rant against him, while using Megan Thee Stallion‘s Nicki diss, “HISS.”

As previously shared, on December 11, Nicki came for Governor Newsom, claiming Vice President JD Vance was better than him. Her post on X appeared to arrive after Newsom’s latest comments on transgender people.
In a recent interview on the Ezra Klein Show, Newsom spoke about his controversial stance on transgender athletes participating in sports, and one line from his comments has gone mega-viral. He said:
“We didn’t get into trans sports. That’s an issue no one wants to hear about because 80% of people listening disagree with my position on this, but it comes from my heart. Not just my head. It wasn’t a political evolution. I don’t think it’s fair…I wanna see trans kids, I have a trans godson. There’s no governor that’s done more pro trans legislation than I have, and no one has been a stronger advocate for the LGBTQ community.”

What’s Nicki Minaj’s Beef With California Governor Gavin Newsom?
In addition to Newsom’s comments about transgender people, Nicki’s comments also arrive as she’s been aligning herself with President Donald Trump and his administration in recent months. It first began when she agreed with him calling out Nigeria on November 1. She thanked POTUS as he threatened the foreign nation amid reports about the persecution of Christians.
Nicki’s address went viral and not only sparked side eyes from her super fans, The Barbz, but also earned her a United Nations invitation. Weeks later, she teamed up with Trump’s U.N. ambassador and delivered a speech about religious violence.
Nicki has also aired out her grievances with California’s local and state government after having her Los Angeles home swatted numerous times with her son inside. She called out “political corruption,” alleging the California officials failed to bring anyone to justice over the incidents. As Nicki leans right with Trump, Newsom, on the left, continues to receive all of Nicki’s wrath.

Gavin Newsom Finally Claps Back At Nicki Minaj And Uses Megan Thee Stallion’s Diss “HISS” To Do It
After she slammed him on Thursday, she continued to drag him after he broke his silence on Friday (December 12). He shared a video collage with photos of Trump hanging with late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and several unnamed young women.
Over the video, Megan Thee Stallion’s Nicki Minaj diss “HISS” played — specifically, the Megan’s Law part. On the track, the Houston rapper refers to the May 1996 federal law that requires sexual predators, offenders, and other sexually violent individuals, add their names and addresses to a national database to protect the public from them.
Newsom’s move set Nicki off and she posted endless memes and fiery posts about “Newscum.”
