At least 16 documents, including a photo of President Donald Trump, have disappeared from the Department of Justice (DOJ) website related to the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, according to several reports.

The findings arrive less than a day after the DOJ released the documents pertaining to the late financier and convicted sex offender. At the time of publishing, there is no notice to the public and no explanation from the government.
Reportedly, the missing files, which were available Friday (December 19), are no longer accessible as of Saturday (December 20). The documents released include images of paintings depicting nude women and photos from inside one of Epstein’s homes.

At Lest 16 Files Missing From Justice Department Page For Jeffrey Epstein Less Than 24 Hours After DOJ Release
One of the photos missing, related to Trump, showed several framed photos on a credenza desk at Epstein’s home. The photos showed former President Bill Clinton, and another showed the Pope. There was also a photo of President Trump, Epstein, and Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for conspiring in Epstein’s sex trafficking scheme, including the sexual abuse of minors.
Other documents missing from the DOJ’s webpage include photos of a room with what appeared to be a message table and nude photos and nude paintings. There are also missing FBI interviews with survivors and internal DOJ memos examining charging decisions — essentially records that could have helped explain how investigators saw the case and why Epstein was allowed to plead guilty in 2008 to a relatively minor state-level prostitution charge.

In a post on X, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee highlighted the missing images, especially a photo of President Trump. The legislators shared the missing image and wrote:
“This photo, file 468, from the Epstein files that includes Donald Trump has apparently now been removed from the DOJ release. @AGPamBondi is this true? What else is being covered up? We need transparency for the American public.”
In a second post, the Oversight Democrats declared, “This is a White House Cover-Up.”
