Vegas Celebrity Plastic Surgeon Predicts The Biggest Beauty Trends For 2026

From subtle tweaks to next-level glow-ups, a Las Vegas plastic surgeon is spilling what beauty trends she feels will dominate 2026.

Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Rachel Mason of La Femme Plastic Surgery in Las Vegas says the aesthetic landscape going into 2026 is shaping up to be in favor of natural, personalized, and confidence-boosting results. 

As patients seek more natural and subtle results rather than dramatic transformations, Mason predicts that 2026 will continue to emphasize more natural looking results in the new year. She recently sat down with The Blast to share some of her predictions and a little about a recent celebrity mommy makeover that she did.

Mason said that one of the themes of 2025 plastic surgery trends was “downsizing.”

After years of going bigger, 2025 marked a noticeable shift toward downsizing in plastic surgery. This movement shows no signs of slowing down in 2026, according to Mason. Patients are opting for smaller breast implants, subtler facial tweaks, and more natural looking results overall. It appears that the thought “less is more” is something that is going to continue in 2026. 

“In 2025, I had a lot of breast reductions, actually, a lot of women who just wanted their implants removed. I would say, especially in my middle-aged to older population, the majority of women were just coming and saying, please take these things out of me,” Mason told The Blast exclusively. “That was the biggest thing. And then smaller breast augmentations as well.”

Going into the new year, Mason said she feels the trends will stay the same as they were in 2025, with most people opting for a more natural look.

“I think that implant removal is still a big thing, as well as using fat, using our own bodies to fix our bodies instead of relying so much on foreign bodies,” she said. “So, using fat transfer to do a breast augmentation, it’s a smaller augmentation, but at least it’s your own tissue. Or using fat transfer to your face to help your face look a little bit younger.”

With a fat transfer, you have to have enough fat to be able to transfer it to another spot.

“If you’re pinching a tiny bit of skin, then there’s no fat to transfer. Luckily, most people have one area where they tend to hold onto fat. It’s different for everybody, but for some people, it’s their belly. For some, it’s their lower back, like their love handles, and for others, it’s their inner thighs,” Mason said. “If you have enough in one area, you can transfer that.”

One unfortunate thing about fat transfer is about only half the fat that you transfer will stay, Mason shared. She said, “it could be more, it could be less.”

“It’s your own body, so it gains and loses weight with you. It ages with you. You never have to have another surgery to have it replaced, so those are kind of the good things about it,” she continued. “Plus, you’re getting liposuction from a problem area and putting it where you want it to go.”

If you’re not quite at a place of wanting or needing any plastic surgery procedures done just yet but want to dip your toe into making some changes or do some anti-aging treatments, Mason shared a few that are great to consider.

“There’s more non-invasive skin tightening things like Morpheus 8, for example, that does help a little bit. I personally think it works best on the body, better on the body than the face,” she said. “A CO2 laser can also help.”

She said that while none of those things will have the same type of results as surgery, if you don’t have a lot of laxity, it can help. She also said that if you’re not ready for surgery, Botox is going to give you the “best bang for your buck” as well as a little bit of filler.

And for those who need just a little tweak around the eyes, a blepharoplasty is a great procedure that gives you the result of a more awake appearance with almost zero scarring and really no pain.

“You can do it awake with very minimal downtown and just a little bit of bruising,” she said. “Especially for younger people who don’t have a lot of time off, it’s a really easy way to refresh your look.”

A few weeks ago, “Teen Mom” alum Jenelle Evans had a mommy makeover done at La Femme Plastic Surgery in Las Vegas.

“She came in wanting a revision of her breasts, which is pretty normal. She just needed a little bit of repositioning, and so I think that went really well for her,” Mason said. “And then, you know as everyone knows, she’s a mom and her main complaint was diastasis recti, which means that the belly muscles have separated. It’s usually from having babies or weight gain, and in her case, more having babies. No matter how much you work out, you just can’t put those muscles back together.”

Mason added that the focus was on a “total midsection and breast restoration,” and that she “removed nearly five pounds of excess skin and stubborn fat from her abdomen.”

The timing was just right for Evans to get her mommy makeover. Mason touched on the fact that this time of year is the most popular time for anyone to have major surgeries such as Evans’.

“The holidays, the end of the year, is by far the most popular time for anyone to have these major surgeries. And I think it’s multifactorial,” she said. “The biggest thing is that people have the time off and can recover with a little bit more privacy. And sometimes they don’t have as many responsibilities, especially if they don’t have to take the kids to and from school, allowing for a little bit more recovery.”

As GLP-1 medications continue to drive significant weight loss, more patients are turning to plastic surgery as their body changes rapidly.

“I’m going to start off by saying it’s so cool because for so many years, you basically tell someone they need to lose 30 pounds or something and that was just an impossible thing that no one ever really did. But now people are actually able to,” Mason told The Blast. “So, I love it. But it’s causing a lot of extra skin because you lose it sort of unproportionately sometimes from areas that you don’t want to lose it, which is strange but true.”

In turn, Mason is seeing more breast lifts, tummy tucks, and loss of volume in the face.
