The Multiverse Saga had quite a lot of flubs when it came to the new characters it was introducing into the MCU. However, one that was an unequivocal success was Ms. Marvel. Despite being in projects that got lukewarm reception at best, Iman Vellani’s effortless charm managed to win fans ever during one of the franchise’s most tumultuous times.
This is why so many fans were shocked when Iman Vellani’s name was left out of the Avengers: Doomsday cast reveal. Especially given Ms. Marvel’s bengals seem to be of some importance to the wider story of the Multiverse Saga, one would think the project would at least want to reintroduce her to audiences before having it play a role in Secret Wars.
Is Ms. Marvel In Avengers: Doomsday?
Luckily, it seems as though fans may have some good sense with their intuition. A rumor from Hollywood insider MyTimeToShineHello seems to confirm that Iman Vellani will return as Ms. Marvel in both Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. While it’s not exactly clear what role she’ll play, it’ll likely be as the key bringing the Young Avengers into the larger story of the Multiverse Saga.
Given Iman Vellani isn’t the biggest star outside of the Marvel sphere, it makes sense that the studio wouldn’t want to spoil her return to market Avengers: Doomsday. Though, given Secret Wars will likely be a much more confined story than Avengers: Doomsday, it’ll be interesting to see how Ms. Marvel plays into the climax of the Multiverse Saga.
