Dorit Kemsley offered an update on her relationship with her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, on Thursday night’s Watch What Happens Live.
After the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Dorit, 49, reflected on her marriage to PK, 58, shared her thoughts on Jennifer Tilly‘s comment about the falling out between Sutton Stracke, 54, and Garcelle Beauvais, 59, and reacted to rumors about Kyle Richards, 57, and Mauricio Umansky, 55, while also commenting on Kyle’s resentment, Erika Jayne‘s boyfriend, and her own dating life.
“You don’t know how much I would love be sitting here … and say, ‘Yes … [PK and I are] so much better.’ [But], no,” Dorit revealed on the January 15 episode of WWHL.
Although Dorit couldn’t say whether being on RHOBH determined the outcome of her marriage, she confirmed she had no regrets.
“I don’t believe in those things,” she stated. “If we were to play a fantasy game, I guess it’s asking what could I have done better, and of course, I’ve had a good 18 months now to reflect, and sure, there were some things I could’ve done better, but I’m here for a reason.”
Moving on to Jennifer’s suggestion that Garcelle ended her friendship with Sutton because it was always about Sutton, Dorit said, “Listen, the truth always comes out.”
As for whether it was the right thing for Amanda to tell Kyle that Sutton’s former assistant, Avi Gabay, said he had dirt on her, Dorit said she would’ve gone to Sutton instead.
“I would go straight to Sutton, not go via Kyle,” she revealed.
Speaking of Kyle, Dorit wasn’t buying the reports of a potential reconciliation between her and Mau.
“It’s so boring … Everybody knows they hang out as a family in Aspen. Kyle and Mau have a good relationship,” she reasoned. “[And] no one would have to guess whether her and Mau are getting back together. Kyle would be the first to scream it from the rooftops.”
She then said that she agreed with Kyle that she should stop constantly talking about PK, 58, and reacted to Kyle’s suggestion to Erika that she had been taking the anger she had with PK out on her.
“I watched that whole scene, and I was just thinking, ‘What is going on with Kyle? Like, what is she doing? It’s just very obvious and clear and transparent to me,” Dorit shared. “I think that she is resentful for last year, and she’s got a bone to pick with me, last year that I was open, honest, and verbose.”
As for where their relationship was headed, Dorit admitted, “It’s gotta get worse before it gets better,” as Andy Cohen, 57, confirmed that it “gets so much worse.”
As WWHL continued, Dorit reacted to a fan who wanted to know why she was always late.
“Why are people late? They’re overwhelmed. They’re busy. They’re in glam,” she declared.
That said, Dorit confirmed she did feel bad for being late.
Regarding Erika telling Kyle about her new boyfriend, John McPhee, but not her, Dorit said, “I’ll be honest. When I heard that, I felt like, oh geez, why didn’t you tell me? But I guess it is what it is.”
Dorit was then asked to have Sutton’s back in a game, during which she admitted “Sutton Brown” was “not as mean” and noted that being on a main road was not an issue since Sutton’s $5.3 million Bel Air home was her first “non-marital house,” which deserved kudos.
Dorit also said that it was fair that Sutton didn’t want to talk about her drama with Avi because “when you have that personal of a relationship, you don’t want your dirty laundry being aired,” and she added that Erika was lucky to have established a friendship with Sutton since “Sutton is a social climber [and] has a lot of friends.”
Also on the live show, Dorit declared that the recent reconciliation between Teresa Giudice, 53, and the Gorgas, Melissa, 46, and Joe, 51, was “real.”
“I know it’s real. I do. I spoke to Melissa at BravoCon … and Teresa,” she shared.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Dorit confirmed she wasn’t dating, and she hadn’t even been on one date since her split from PK, as she revealed she was quite open to the idea.
“Yes. Yes. Yes! I’d like to kiss someone,” she declared before adding, “I seem so pathetic … [and] a little desperate.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
