Today, Ahsoka Tano stands tall as one of the franchise’s most loved characters, and fans across the fandom are taking a moment to celebrate how far she’s come.
Ahsoka was officially introduced on January 29, 2008, months before she made her on-screen debut in The Clone Wars movie, which hit theaters on August 10, 2008.
From the start, she was designed to challenge expectations. She talked back, made mistakes, and pushed buttons. A lot of buttons. Early reactions weren’t exactly glowing, but time has a funny way of changing minds.
