Erika Jayne weighed in on Amanda Frances‘ suggestion that she was “verbally accosted” by Dorit Kemsley on Thursday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
As she also revealed if Sutton Stracke, 54, had changed, explained why Dorit, 49, gives more of a pass to Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, 49, than Kyle Richards, 57, and offered an update on her romance with John McPhee, the 54-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared who is most to blame for Dorit and Kyle’s feud and targeted Amanda’s lack of accountability.
“No, [Amanda wasn’t verbally accosted by Dorit],” Erika stated on the February 5 episode of WWHL. “We have hard conversations in this group. And what Kyle said earlier about having a thicker skin, that’s really true. The accosted thing I don’t go for, I don’t like that, and I knew it was going to be a problem when I saw it playing out. I was like, ‘I know where this is going and it’s not good.’ It was a horrible night. It was an incredibly sensitive situation, which is why, in my opinion, I was like, no I’m not saying anything.”
Continuing on about Amanda, Erika said she put too much heat on Kyle for what was said about her comments about her divorce.
“Absolutely. She did not own her own piece of it and say, ‘Yes, I said these things.’ You don’t need to drag Kyle in it,” she noted.
Erika also didn’t appreciate the long-winded phone call Amanda took in the car.
“It kept going on and on. It was like twenty minutes of just [her talking],” she complained.
After sharing that she did feel that Sutton had changed for the better, Erika agreed that Dorit gave Boz more of a pass than Kyle.
“She does. And the reason is because there’s so much history between Kyle and Dorit that Dorit expects more from Kyle,” she explained.
Then, after joking that Dorit’s impression of her “wasn’t nasal enough,” Erika offered an update on her relationship with boyfriend John, stating that they were “still going,” revealing that he has “met no one” on the cast, and confirming she wasn’t worried about the ladies judging him, despite Dorit’s comment about his Crocs.
Also on the live airing of WWHL, Erika played a game in which she answered a series of rapid-fire questions, choosing between Kyle and Dorit.
As she said Dorit was more stubborn and guiltier of making things about herself, due only to the fact that she was “going through it the most,” Erika refused to answer who she’d sooner trust with a secret, said that “neither one of them” would be reconciling with Lisa Vanderpump, and noted that their estranged husbands, Mauricio Umansky, 55, and Paul “PK” Kemsley, 58, were the most to blame for their ongoing feud.
“I believe that when the husbands are involved, it becomes too much … I blame the closeness of the husbands,” she explained.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Erika was asked about Lisa Rinna‘s run on The Traitors and questioned about whether she thought she would have lasted longer.
“I would not do a better job. There is no one better than Lisa Rinna in things like this,” she stated.
As for whether she’d be a traitor or a faithful if she were to appear on the show, which she hadn’t yet seen, Erika admitted, “I don’t know.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
