Amid the movies leaving Netflix next month are several animated classics, iconic sci-fi dramas, as well as Friends with Benefits, a Mila Kunis-led romantic comedy, which featured one of the most star-studded lineups ever put together in the genre. As per tradition, the streaming giant is once again updating its roster by bringing in a host of fresh titles, all the while bidding goodbye to multiple fan-favorite TV shows and movies.

Friends with Benefits is leaving Netflix next month

Netflix subscribers who have yet to enjoy Mila Kunis’ 2011 rom-com or wish to rewatch it ought to do so as soon as possible, as the feature will soon part ways with the renowned streaming platform.

Helmed by Anyone but You fame Will Gluck, the 109-minute movie will depart the content library of the streaming service on April 1, 2026 (via What’s On Netflix).

Friends with Benefits revolves around the misadventures of Dylan Harper (Justin Timberlake), a Los Angeles art director, and Jamie Rellis (Mila Kunis), a New York-based headhunter. After recruiting him at GQ, Jamie inadvertently develops a friendship with Dylan, albeit a platonic one.

However, things get complicated when the two decide to indulge in a physical relationship after agreeing that intimacy doesn’t require emotional attachment. As fate would have it, they end up contradicting themselves by developing feelings for one another.

Led by Kunis and Timberlake, the supporting cast of Friends with Benefits also features Patricia Clarkson, Jenna Elfman, Bryan Greenberg, Nolan Gould, Richard Jenkins, Courtney Henggeler, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, and Andy Samberg, among others.

Having hit theaters in 2011, the rom-com classic mostly garnered decent reviews upon its release and currently has a Tomatometer score of 69% on Rotten Tomatoes. Viewers had a similar reaction to the movie’s quality, as evidenced by its 65% Popcornmeter score on the review-aggregation website.

Additionally, Friends with Benefits fared well at the box office, earning an impressive $149 million on the global stage on a reported budget of $35 million, as per Box Office Mojo.
