Tom Sandoval revealed what happened with Lindsay Hubbard at BravoCon on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
Following reports of a heated exchange with the 39-year-old Summer House star and his girlfriend of two years, Victoria Lee Robinson, 33, the 43-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum detailed their interaction, reacted to Kristen Doute, 43, dissing him on podcasts, and defended Katie Maloney, 40, while also offering an update on his shared home with Ariana Madix, 40, sharing his biggest takeaway from “Scandoval,” and revealing which of his former castmates he still talks to.
“We were having such a great night … Victoria [was] having a very deep conversation about something very personal. Someone’s grandmother had just passed away. And then Lindsay kind of just sort of comes up, feeling herself, [and] asks to speak to me,” Tom recalled on the March 3 episode of the WWHL: After Show.
Although Tom admitted that he didn’t know Lindsay “very well,” he walked away from Victoria to speak to her after suspecting he was “in trouble” with the higher-ups.
“I walked away and started talking to her, and she starts just asking about … It was very inappropriate. She starts talking about our relationship, me and Victoria’s. And Victoria walks up, and she’s like, ‘Hey, excuse me, who are you?’ And Lindsay looks at her, and she’s like, ‘Wait, you don’t know who I am?’ And Victoria’s like, ’No, I have no idea who you are,’” he revealed. “It just was strange.”
After noting that Lindsay “apologized” after the encounter, Tom explained that Victoria was in socks because the vintage Prada heels she had been wearing made her feet bleed.
“They did not fit my feet, and I was in socks, so people were commenting about my damn socks. They were like, ‘Why is she going around a hotel with socks on?’ But no, she apologized. It’s all good,” Victoria shared. “[And Tom and I] were not in a fight … We were actually going to get fake married in Vegas right before that.”
On the live broadcast of WWHL, Tom looked back on another interaction he had at BravoCon.
“It actually happened in the lobby,” he revealed of a run-in with Kristen and her daughter Kaia. “We were actually really excited to meet her. Victoria was actually really excited … cuz we watched that part of The Valley where she got proposed to and all that stuff, and we see [her fiancé, Luke Broderick,] around a lot.”
While the reunion went well, Tom said Kristen proceeded to bash him and Victoria on a couple of podcasts after their meeting.
“[She] went on some long rant about myself and Victoria on two podcasts, just ranting on about us, our relationship. It was so strange. We were so sweet to her,” he stated.
Then, after being asked to give the new cast advice, Tom turned to his fellow guest, Chris Hahn, 31, and called him out for declaring that he didn’t know who Katie was.
“You’re on Vanderpump Rules … Myself, Katie Maloney, the OG cast, we’re the reason why that show is still on, and you’re here. And even if you didn’t know who Katie Maloney was, you probably shouldn’t have said that,” he pointed out, encouraging Chris to clear it up and apologize to Katie and the rest of the cast.
“I’m not the biggest fan of Katie, but you know me, when I see something, I’ll always stand up for what I see is right,” he added.
When host Andy Cohen, 57, revealed that the episode was being filmed on the three-year anniversary of “Scandoval,” which saw the reveal of his months-long affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 31, Tom admitted he “didn’t even think about it.”
“I’ve moved on so much from that,” he shared.
As for his biggest takeaway from “Scandoval,” Tom said, “Don’t do that.”
Regarding the home he and Ariana shared before his cheating was exposed, Tom confirmed the property was “going on the market” after Ariana “got her clothes out,” but he denied they’d spoken.
After sharing that he’s still in touch with Jax Taylor, 46, Tom said he did not think that his and Tom Schwartz‘s bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s, would still be open if it weren’t for “Scandoval.”
“I don’t. It was a very challenging area to be in. It’s not like West Hollywood that gets the constant foot traffic. It just was very, very hard to get that place going. It’s sort of tucked away, so I think it would’ve closed inevitably,” he admitted.
