Ciara Miller reportedly viewed a video of Amanda Batula and West Wilson being intimate before they went public with their “connection” with a joint statement on Tuesday.
As an insider revealed how Bravo was handling the fallout from the scandal and revealed when the Summer House cast would film their season 10 reunion, a report claimed that Ciara, 30, obtained the shocking clip of her former best friend and ex-flame at West’s apartment.
TMZ shared the news with readers on April 2, noting that Ciara was understandably upset by what she saw, and adding that both Amanda, 34, and West, 31, were unaware that they were being recorded.
The outlet went on to reveal that Amanda had sent Ciara a text on Monday afternoon, insisting that she never intended to hurt her and hoped to discuss the situation with her once she figured out her feelings for their co-star.
As for the future of Summer House, Bravo is prioritizing the health of its cast and taking things slowly.
“Everything is still very, very fresh, and the network’s priority right now is making sure the cast is OK,” an insider explained to Page Six on April 2.
In addition to “zero decisions” being made about the 11th season of Summer House and its upcoming spinoff, In the City, which premieres in May, there have been “no conversations” about anyone leaving the show or being fired. Instead, the network is preparing for the reunion, which will address Amanda and West’s relationship and be filmed sometime in mid-April.
Earlier this week, while chatting with reporter Adam Glyn in New York City, Andy Cohen, 57, was asked about the Summer House drama.
“We’re all gathering information and the reunion’s coming up,” he noted. “I feel for everybody … [But] the reunion will tell all.”
