In a shocking turn of events, Pooh Shiesty is facing serious allegations of kidnapping and robbery involving none other than Gucci Mane, as reported by the Department of Justice.
On Thursday morning, the DOJ dropped the bombshell, stating that Shiesty and associate Big30 reportedly held multiple victims at gunpoint inside a Dallas music studio. The sweep for justice saw eight out of nine suspects — including Shiesty himself — arrested Wednesday across several cities, including Memphis, Nashville, and Dallas.
According to the DOJ’s complaint, the drama unfolded on January 10, when Shiesty invited a trio of music industry professionals to the studio for what was supposed to be a contract discussion. Keep in mind, Shiesty was previously signed to Gucci’s 1017 label.
The feds allege that Shiesty and his crew executed an “armed takeover,” during which he reportedly forced one of the victims to sign a release form that would free him from his recording contract—all while wielding a firearm. The allegations don’t stop there; law enforcement claims that the crew made off with Rolex watches, jewelry, and cash from their targets.
Adding to the chaos, Pooh Shiesty was arrested by the FBI on Wednesday in Dallas, following a raid on his family home in Memphis, which also saw his father taken into custody.
If found guilty, Shiesty could be looking at a return to federal prison, just six months after being released.
