Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula‘s marriage is seen coming to an end in the just-released trailer for Summer House‘s latest spinoff, In the City, just as Amanda is seen uniting with her recent flame, West Wilson.
After the sneak peek clip starts with a flashback of Amanda, 34, and Kyle’s September 2021 wedding, during which Kyle, 43, promises to make Amanda “proud,” Amanda was seen gushing over “cutie” West, 31, as Lindsay Hubbard, 39, discussed choosing the wrong partners, Danielle Olivera, 37, faced claims of being a “home wrecker,” and Andrea Denver, 34, considered starting a family with wife Lexi Sundin.
“We’re all trying to figure out how to be real-life adults, finally … But we’re basically tripping everywhere we go,” Lindsay explains in the April 7 trailer.
She then seemingly refers to the demise of Kyle and Amanda’s marriage, saying, “I’m in tears, watching my friends demolish their relationship,” as Amanda questions Kyle about potential infidelity.
“Who was in our apartment last night while I’m asleep? Do you know how many times you cheated on me?” she asks.
The now-ex-couple is later seen in a tense moment at their apartment.
“We don’t have a prenup, but if you come for me, I’ll come for you,” Amanda warns as Kyle tells her, “That’d be a losing battle.”
“Are you threatening me?” she asks.
Then, as Andy Cohen, 57, announces the “bombshell news” that Kyle and Amanda had broken up, Amanda is seen uniting with West, with whom she’s since confirmed a romance, on the streets of New York City.
“Hey, cutie,” Amanda declares.
“Hey, Mandy,” West replies as they share a warm embrace.
As the trailer moves back to Lindsay, Kenny Martin confronts her about how quickly she got pregnant with Turner Kufe‘s baby.
“It sounds like you’re judging me,” she fires back as he claims it was just two months into their relationship.
As Lindsay opens up about her family being “taken away from her” following her split from Turner, she admits to feeling shame.
“I’m choosing partners that continue to abandon me, and it’s making me feel like I should be ashamed,” she said amid a FaceTime call.
Regarding her relationship with Eoin Heavey, Danielle is questioned about whether it was true that she was a “home wrecker,” and Amanda points out that Eoin “has a whole a** wife still.”
There’s also trouble in paradise for Nick Barber and Yvonne Najor, the former of whom allegedly denied being married during a boys’ night out.
Another couple featured on the show is Kenny and Whitney Fransway, who are moving in together after Whitney relocated from the West Coast.
After Kenny gets upset with Lindsay for mentioning that Whitney moved in “before the ring,” Whitney complains that she’s “sick of watching” everyone bow down to Lindsay.
Yvonne is also fed up with the Summer House star and Lindsay, “You’re supposed to be my best friend and you treat me like sh*t.”
Elsewhere, before Andrea is seen battling Kenny, and Kenny is seen facing off with Gavin Moseley, he and Lexi discuss their future family.
“I want to put a baby in you … but I get sore too!” he declares.
In the City season one premieres on Tuesday, May 19, at 9/8c on Bravo.
