Last night, the 2026 Billboard Women in Music Awards—held at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles—honored the most influential voices in the music industry. Additionally, hosted by Keke Palmer, who was also one of the show’s performers, the event recognized artists including one’s we’ll see at this year’s ESSENCE Festival, chief curator Teyana Taylor and performer Kehlani.
But first, Visionary of the Year-winner Teyana Taylor proved red carpets are a family affair. While she usually appears with her daughters, this time the singer—who wore an Ashi Studios dress with marcel-curled hair glued on and long wand curls instead of a pixie—arrived with her parents, Nikki Taylor and Tito Smith. In a similar fashion to Taylor, Tyla sported a heavily slit feathered gown paired with a hot pink manicure, big sexy curls, and star-shaped crystals lining her curves.
Dramatic pink blush is trending, but host Keke Palmer put the shade all on her eyelids as the perfect complement to a red hot pixie with pink highlights. They’re shades Impact Award winner Kehlani blended those into a nail polish color, which were adorned with little flowers. Mariah the Scientist, meanwhile, was less polished with rough cut curtain bangs and slouchy beaded mini-dress ahead of her performance.
Then, by the end of the carpet, Love Island sweethearts Chelley Bissainthe, Serena Page, and JaNa Craig outdid themselves gorgeously. From eye-catching lashes to textured wardrobes and pretty pink nails, their looks were highlights of the night.
