Dolores Catania and Liz McGraw are weighing in on Ashley Iaconetti’s presence on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island and their comments echo what others in the cast have already been saying.

During a live Virtual Reali-Tea event, Liz didn’t hold back when asked about the newcomer, suggesting there’s a disconnect between Ashley’s on camera interviews and her interactions with the group.
“She does really well in her confessionals, and that’s something that didn’t show up in the scenes. Just saying,” Liz said, also referring to Ashley as a “confessional warrior” and adding that she needs to “bring it in both places.”
Liz also noted that she hasn’t made much effort to build a relationship with Ashley outside of filming, saying she “never personally tried to make plans with” her.
Dolores offered a slightly softer take but still pointed out Ashley’s low key presence during filming.
“She was very quiet,” Dolores said, adding that Ashley was “nice.”
Liz went on to give a bit more context to Ashley’s dynamic with the group.

“She’s a new soul. There’s nothing wrong with that. She can’t necessarily relate to us who have real deep seated stuff.”
The comments come shortly after Kelsey Swanson shared a similar perspective, suggesting Ashley has kept her distance from the cast. Kelsey previously said that Ashley “has not made it a point to hang out with any of us even after filming,” and described her approach as treating the show more like a job than a social circle.
Together, the remarks paint a consistent picture of Ashley as someone who has yet to fully integrate into the group dynamic, despite delivering strong moments in her solo interviews.
As the season continues, it remains to be seen whether Ashley will step further into the group or continue to keep her distance.
