Police took the man into custody at the scene. They arrested him for assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism. Sources told TMZ that the suspect’s weapon was a CO2-style (air-powered) weapon, like a pellet or BB gun.
Sources also told the publication that the man arrested was not Chris Brown, whom police initially assumed was not home during the incident. However, hours after the reports surfaced, the “Sensational” singer took to his Instagram Story to speak out, slamming headlines. He confirmed he was home during the incident, but had zero involvement. The singer also made it clear that folks need to stop including his name in unrelated drama.
