Now, in May 2026, Grier is again opening up about her sex life. While appearing on the Wednesday (May 13) episode of Julia Louis-Dreyfus‘ podcast ‘Wiser Than Me,’ Grier compared her experience at 76 to that in her youth — when she would have “three, four, five orgasms in one hour.”
Things began as Louis-Dreyfus asked Grier how old she is. The actress answered:
“I think I might be 77 this year. I might be. I don’t know, nor do I care. If I wake up breathing I’m going to have a good day.”
Louis-Dreyfus replied, “I mean, just by the amount of energy you have right now and the bubbling up zest you’ve got for life—I was going to ask you how old do you feel. But you must feel very young. You seem very young to me. Do you feel young?”
Grier confirmed, “Well, yes, I do. Because when you’re young, you can have three, four, five orgasms in an hour. But when you get my age, you have one orgasm, it’ll last three days.”

The 65-year-old host demanded to know, “What are you talking about? Like, what are you doing down there to get a three-day orgasm? It’s gonna be three whole days.”
Louis-Dreyfus continued to get clarification on Grier’s three-day orgasms and how she’s able to achieve them. However, the actress stated that it’s just something that comes with growing older. She said, “I think it’s my age.”
Louis-Dreyfus joked, “Maybe when you’re 90, it’ll be a whole week.” Grier joined her in laughing and added, “If I could have had that when I was younger, I would have had a better life and better boyfriends, OK?”
