Selling Sunset is going through a major cast overhaul ahead of its upcoming 10th season.
Following the news of the returns of Christine Quinn, 37, and Heather Rae El Moussa, 38, sources have confirmed that four cast members were fired and alleged that producers are currently eyeing Selling the O.C. realtor Alex Hall, 37, as a potential replacement.
On May 19, TMZ revealed that Mary Bonnet, 45, Emma Hernan, 36, Chelsea Lazkani, 33, and Sandra Vergara, 37, had been told in April that producers would not be renewing their contracts for the new season, which is set to start filming in Los Angeles in the next couple of weeks.
As for the remaining women, including Bre Tiesi, 35, and Amanza Smith, 49, they are both returning.
Theresa L. Concepcion was first to share the casting news on Instagram, noting that Alanna Gold, 34, was also let go.
“Mary has been fired from Selling Sunset. Chelsea’s been fired. Emma’s been fired. Sandra has been fired and Alanna has been fired. They are bringing back Christine, Heather, Bri, and Amanza, for some reason … The production company for Selling Sunset has fired Mary, Chelsea, Alanna, and Sandra, and Emma,” Theresa explained on May 18.
Meanwhile, a second report from TMZ on May 19 revealed that after firing Mary, Chelsea, Emma, Sandra, and Alanna, producers were in talks to bring Alex from Orange County to Los Angeles, explaining that she was a natural fit since she was already working with high-end clients in the area.
Although a deal has not yet been made with Alex, negotiations were described as active and promising.
TMZ also confirmed that Selling the O.C. would not be filming this year, and that Selling the City, which was based out of New York City, would not be returning to Netflix.
