Kroy Biermann has undergone a bit of a makeover amid his messy divorce from Kim Zolciak.
After the former Real Housewives of Atlanta couple attended a divorce hearing last week, Kroy, 38, ditched his blond hair for a darker look with a matching beard as he was accused of “out of control” spending after claiming he and Kim, 45, were “financially destitute” in court documents.
While Kroy suggested in paperwork submitted to the court on September 18 that he and Kim were facing a number of money troubles, including an IRS debt of more than $1 million, due to Kim’s “reckless spending habits and love for online gambling,” a new report alleges that their debt is actually his fault.
Following Kroy’s claims, a source says Kim is “livid” that Kroy wants to sell their $3 million house because she feels he’s doing it in an effort to boot her from her dream home.
“She’s saying Kroy’s spending habits are out of control and have been for years,” an insider told In Touch Weekly on October 1. “She doesn’t want to give up the house and one way or another, she will fight to keep it.”
Fight as she may, a judge last week ruled that Kroy will be allowed to sell the home, which is said to be set for a November auction amid foreclosure proceedings.
As Kroy prepares to sell off his and Kim’s marital residence, he’s sporting a new look.
In photos obtained by Page Six on October 2, Kroy was seen spending a day with his kids, including Kash “KJ” Jagger, 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9, and while his hair has been blond for years, it was newly darkened with a bushy beard to match.
As the outlet noted, in addition to Kroy’s new look, he was also seen without his wedding ring as he carried a container of food to his car.

As RHOA fans may have heard, Kim has been accused of trying to “delay” their divorce in an effort to stay in her home as long as possible. She even skipped a divorce hearing last month, claiming she was out of town filming MTV’s The Surreal Life and couldn’t make it back in time for the Zoom appearance.
Kim also filed to have Kroy’s divorce petition thrown out on the basis that the two of them were still sleeping together. However, her request has since been denied.
