After Bethenny Frankel claimed Andy Cohen and Jeff Lewis ambushed her on Watch What Happens Live, a video surfaced of Bethenny during an alleged commercial break. The footage, according to the fan who captured it, seemingly challenges the ambush narrative.
During the episode, the Real Housewives of New York alum was questioned over why she unfollowed Kyle Richards. Jeff insinuated she was lying and suggested her recap podcast was unoriginal.
According to fan account @jeff_lewis_obsessed on Instagram, a video was taken of Bethenny during a commercial break, and the star appeared to be fine while chatting with Andy.
“I was IN the WWHL audience when @bethennyfrankel & @jljefflewis were on together Dec 2022… This is an IG story I posted during the first commerical break of them all laughing and chatting it up,” wrote the account, alongside the video of their interaction. “NOTHING seems ‘off’ or like an ‘ambush’ to me but I guess Bethenny feels this way.”
During the video, Bethenny seemed to tap Jeff’s knee in a friendly manner while leaning toward Andy in the lighthearted conversation.
Addressing the WWHL interviews, Bethenny recently expressed on her Just B with Bethenny Frankel podcast: “Somehow [Andy’s] always protected, and we’re always f–king skinned alive with Tabasco sauce all over us, naked … We’re out there, and we get thrown like pieces of meat to just get ripped apart by that vehicle that we kiss the a** to get on … And we all play the go**amn f–king game … because we’re using him like he’s using us, because we want to promote our s–t.”
