Blumhouse has produced a fun-looking new sci-fi horror movie titled Totally Killer. This is a time travel slasher film that follows a teenager, who travels back in time to help the younger teen version of her mom stop a demented masked killer. This is such a cool genre-bending concept and it looks like it’ll make for a great movie!

A new clip has surfaced that features the film’s star, Kiernan Shipka (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) as the daughter, Jamie, Julie Bowen as her mom in the present day, and Olivia Holt as her mom in the past. In the clip, Jamie finds herself traveling back in time to 1987 in a photo booth as she tries to fight off and escape the killer.

The official synopsis reads: “Thirty-five years after the shocking murder of three teens, the infamous ‘Sweet Sixteen Killer’ returns on Halloween night to claim a fourth victim. Seventeen-year-old Jamie (Shipka) ignores her overprotective mom’s warning and comes face-to-face with the masked maniac and, on the run for her life, accidentally time travels back to 1987, the year of the original killings. Forced to navigate the unfamiliar and outrageous culture of the 1980s, Jamie teams up with her teen mom to take down the killer once and for all, before she’s stuck in the past forever.”

The movie was directed by Nahnatchka Khan (Fresh Off the Boat, Always Be My Maybe) from a script by David Matalon, Sasha Perl-Raver, and Jen D’Angelo. The cast also includes Charlie Gillespie, Lochlyn Munro, Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson, Stephi Chin-Salvo, Anna Diaz, Jeremy Monn-Djasgnar, Ella Choi, Kelcey Mawema, Liana Liberato, Nathaniel Appiah, Jonathan Potts, and Randall Parks.
