Meredith Marks shared a rare photo of her oldest son, 26-year-old Reid Marks, earlier this year in honor of the private financier’s birthday.
As Reid continues to keep his distance from the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cameras, Meredith, 51, has offered a series of updates, discussing not only Reid, but also her two younger children, Brooks Marks, 24, and Chloe Marks, 22, and her 27-year marriage to husband Seth Marks.
As she promoted her and Seth’s new relationship podcast, Hanging by a Thread, Meredith told PEOPLE in September that although the two of them are “perpetually hanging by a thread,” their “relationship is better than it’s ever been.”
“I think all relationships are somewhat perpetually hanging by a thread. But it’s interesting working together,” she noted. “We spend a huge amount of time together already just because we do travel so much, and a lot of times, he’s working all day from the same space I’m in.”
While working together certainly adds “another element” to argue about, Meredith confirmed that she and Seth haven’t had “many fights about it” yet.
“But sometimes it’s like, ‘Well, you said you’d handle this,’ ” she explained. “It’s irritation. Nothing major.”
As RHOSLC fans will recall, Meredith and Seth briefly separated amid season one after growing apart. But after seeking out a counselor, they successfully mended their marriage. And oddly enough, Meredith actually credited the show for “[saving her] marriage” during a 2020 interview with PEOPLE.
“The show really forces you to be very introspective and really think about the things you say and how they impact other people,” she explained.
As for her kids, Brooks turned 24 on July 28.
“Happy 24th Birthday to my magnificent son [Brooks Marks]. Here’s to another year of celebrating your achievements and embracing the incredible person you continue to become,” Meredith wrote on Instagram at the time.
And Chloe turned 22 two weeks prior.
“From adorable to incredible,” Meredith captioned another post. “Happy 22nd birthday [Chloe Marks]. I am so proud of you. I love you beyond!”
During an October 5 interview with BravoTV.com, Meredith offered an update on the lives of her kids, saying that Chloe recently graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and praising her youngest for her “business mind and creative mind.”
Regarding Brooks, Meredith said her middle child recently moved and enjoyed some “legendary” time with Riley Burruss, 21, daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss, 47.
While Reid keeps a lower profile, with Meredith explaining that he doesn’t appear on RHOSLC because he’s “[in New York City] working in the finance world,” she did offer a public shoutout to him on his 26th birthday on January 20.

“Happy Birthday to my beautiful boy [Reid Marks]!! I love you beyond. You make me smile [every day]. I am so incredibly proud of you,” she wrote.
