Alexis Skyy and her ex-boyfriend, rapper Fetty Wap, are receiving praise from social media users. Earlier this week, Skyy took to Instagram Live to share a heartwarming moment of her daughter, Alaiya Grace, expressing excitement to visit her “Dad Fetty Wap” in prison.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Fetty Wap was sentenced to six years in prison in May. The rapper’s charges were reportedly related to narcotics trafficking.
As The Shade Room previously reported, the rapper isn’t Alaiya Grace’s biological father. However, it appears he’s remained a consistent figure in her life despite his split from Skyy and time incarcerated.

Alexis Skyy & Alaiya Grace Take To Instagram Live
Earlier this week, the mother and daughter took to Instagram Live. A clip of the livestream shows Alaiya Grace speaking excitedly about “going to pick a flight” to see Fetty Wap.
“Hey guys, I’m going [to see] Fetty Wap!” Grace says as she looks into the camera, smiling.
As the clip cuts to another portion of the video, Skyy speaks to the camera.
“That’s her friend, she loves him,” Skyy explains to viewers.
The mother then reminds her daughter that Wap “went away to camp.” Later in the clip, Alaiya Grace explains to her mother and viewers that “Daddy’s coming,” and he will pick her up.

Social Media Reacts
Social media users entered The Shade Room’s comment section to praise Skyy for her parenting and Fetty Wap for remaining a constant fixture in Grace’s life. As The Shade Room previously reported, Alaiya Grace has been diagnosed with hydrocephalus. Additionally, Skyy remains her sole caregiver as Grace’s biological father, Brandon Medford, is allegedly absent from her day-to-day life.
According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, hydrocephalus is a “neurological disorder caused by an abnormal buildup of cerebrospinal fluid in the ventricles (cavities) deep within the brain.” The outlet reports that the “excess fluid” causes “harmful pressure on the brain’s tissues.”

The Mother Of One Recently Opened Up About Single Parenthood Exclusively To TSR
In September, Alexis Skyy recently sat down for an interview with The Shade Room’s Editor, Cassandra Santiago. At the time, Skyy reflected on the challenges of navigating single motherhood.
“I’m here, I’m here, I’m here. I’m like trying to do everything, and I’m one person,” Skyy explained. “When she was younger, it was easier because she wasn’t requiring as much. Now, it’s a lot. She wants to be everywhere I’m at. She’s hip to my hip. She has her tantrums. It’s just harder. She’s just attached, so she has separation anxiety. It’s been a bit difficult, but that’s my baby, though.”
Despite the challenges, Sky explained that the “most important thing” in motherhood is having “balance.”
“I think that’s the most important thing, having balance. Postpartum is real, real,” Skyy told Santiago. “You just gotta have time for yourself ’cause you can go crazy for real.”
More Details Regarding Fetty Wap’s Six-Year Prison Sentence

During the incident, the rapper was reportedly found to have “transported, distributed and sold more than 100 kilograms of deadly and addictive drugs.”
Additionally, the 32-year-old rapper will reportedly serve five years of supervision after his prison release.
