Lala Kent clapped back at the backlash she received after calling Raquel Leviss a “coward” for blocking Tom Sandoval on Instagram while appearing on Amazon Live.
After Vanderpump Rules viewers wondered why she was so upset with Raquel, 29, but not Sandoval, 40, Lala, 33, suggested Raquel shared a screenshot of herself cutting ties with Sandoval on social media for attention and explained why she took such issue with her.
“Well, I see that the mental health facility really helped her. She’s just come so far. She’s just so removed from this world,” Lala sarcastically said during a previous appearance on Amazon Live, signaling to the months Raquel spent at The Meadows being treated for mental health concerns.
“Rachel, I really tried and you are just beyond like helpless,” she continued. “Apparently, all that you learned from your time away is that you get on social media.”
According to Lala, Raquel should have returned to Pump Rules for season 11 if she had something to say to Sandoval.
“Here’s the difference between you and me: I’m willing to go toes on the Gram, on Twitter, on Threads, on Facebook, and then when I see you, we’re still gonna go toes. You don’t know how to do that because you’re a coward and that’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard all day,” she concluded.
But following the appearance, many wondered why she targeted Raquel instead of Sandoval.
“I wasn’t upset that Raquel blocked Sandoval. Block him, I don’t care. My whole thing was, you’ve made it known that you want to remove yourself from this world and then you post it on social media to 600 plus thousand people,” Lala explained during her appearance, via Us Weekly. “That’s where I got annoyed.”
“You want to remove yourself, remove yourself. Or just be open and be like, ‘I want to remove myself, but I still kind of like attention so I blocked him,’” she continued, sending out words of advice to Raquel.
As Pump Rules fans may have seen, Sandoval sent a birthday message to Raquel, telling her he “[missed]” her in a comment shared to a video post of her in a field of flowers.
“I really hope ur finding peace and happiness. Miss u friend,” he said at the time.
But after getting the message, Raquel shared a screenshot of Sandoval’s blocked account on her Instagram Story, seemingly telling the world she was moving on from their months-long affair.
Vanderpump Rules season 11 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year or in early 2024.
