Dorit Kemsley reveals she was robbed for a second time a year after men invaded her home and stole about $1 million worth of luxury items.
In a preview for next week’s episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Dorit Kemsley claims that three men robbed her of $10k in cash a little over a year after she experienced a horrific home invasion at her and her husband Paul “PK” Kemsley‘s Encinco home.
“Last Christmas was about 14 months after the home invasion, and I went to the bank; I took out $10,000 so I can have some money for Christmas gifts. I had my handbag in the shopping cart. When I got to the register, I realized that my handbag was gone,” Dorit said.
The 47-year-old shared that when police reviewed the surveillance tapes, they discovered that she had been “followed by three men.”
“That threw me right back into the throes of PTSD,” she admitted in her confessional.
Dorit came clean about the December 2022 incident after revealing to RHOBH co-star Erika Jayne that she experienced a “setback” in her healing from the October 2021 home invasion.
“The whole year in my marriage, in my life, in my emotions, it was very much like this,” Dorit explained while moving her hands up and down like waves.
She then confessed to Erika that her marriage to PK was struggling amid all the emotional turmoil in their life.
“You know how much I love my husband,” she revealed. “We had a really difficult year. He was spending a lot of time in London; he had a lot of business there, and it was a year that I needed him the most.”
Dorit added that she “didn’t feel supported enough” and “didn’t feel as connected” to PK as she had in years prior.
This revelation from Dorit came months before the RHOBH couple publicly admitted to enduring “challenging years together” earlier this week.
On Wednesday, ahead of the RHOBH season 13 premiere, reports surfaced that Dorit and PK had split and were living apart.
Dorit and PK swiftly released a statement denying the claims.
According to Dorit and PK, they “remain committed” to each other amid “challenging years” in their marriage.
The RHOBH couple told PEOPLE:
“We are focused on healing, making changes, and doing the things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage.
We remain committed to working through these issues as a united couple for our family. We have not separated, nor are we planning to do so. Rather, we are focused on healing, making changes, and doing the things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage.
We would be grateful for everyone’s understanding. We are doing what we can to focus on the best interests of our family, as opposed to spending our time contending with rumors and hearsay that are not true.
Love, Dorit, and PK.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
