Last November, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz announced he was co-writing his first graphic novel with Hannah Klein called Dying Inside. Now, Alternative Press is offering an exclusive first look at the cover and the first couple of pages.
While little has been disclosed about the project, which is being released through the Vault Comics imprint Headshell, its beginning pages tease a plot that follows a music-obsessed teen. References include our “emo king” Elliott Smith, PUP’s Morbid Stuff, and Angel Olsen’s Burn Your Fire for No Witness. More details will be revealed at Comic-Con in San Diego in July.

Additionally, Headshell recently teamed up with Skullcandy for exclusive headphones and audio accessories to accompany special editions of Headshell graphic novels. A limited-edition headphone will only be available with copies of Dying Inside.
