One of the few festive duties in Disney Dreamlight Valley is the “Sugar Rush” task that requires you to increase your sugar consumption. The task itself doesn’t give many details apart from one little tip: the sugar consumption must be a “0/15” ratio. Since there are no other clear instructions, many players can be left confused as to what needs to be done.
Much like real life, “sugar rush” is a sudden burst of energy after consuming food that has a lot of sugar. For the “Sugar Rush” duty, you need to do precisely the same: consume a lot of sugary food. This means your character must eat Candy to complete this duty. Making Candy in Disney Dreamlight Valley is fairly straightforward as it is a 1-star Recipe and requires some obvious ingredients to complete.
How To Finish The Sugar Rush Duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To make Candy in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need to get Sugarcane, which can be bought from Goofy on Dazzle Beach. If you do not have access to Dazzle Beach, you must clear the Night Thorns from Dreamlight Castle and spend 1,000 Dreamlight to unlock the zone.
You can purchase Sugarcane from Goofy’s stall for 20 Star Coins. However, since Sugarcane is used for many recipes, it is recommended to purchase Sugarcane Seeds for 5 Star Coins so that you can grow them on your farm.
Sugarcane takes only seven real-time minutes to grow and is a valuable crop to have for making food or selling it for Star Coins.
Once you have grown enough Sugarcane in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need to consume 45 Candies to complete the “Sugar Rush” duty. You will need to grow 45 Stalk of Sugarcane to make so many candies and have 45 chunks of Coal for the cooking process. Once you have made Candy ×45, consume all of them to unlock the skull-shaped caramel apple Motif in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
