Last week, Nelly celebrated his 49th birthday and over the weekend he showed off what his girlfriend gifted him for his special day: a 1962 Impala convertible.
In an Instagram video on Sunday (November 5), the “Hot In Herre” hitmaker shared a clip of his new whip with the caption: “Dammm mama you did that [blue-heart emoji, bicep emoji, facepalm emoji] ..!! Bday gift overkill …!!”
In the comments sections, a fan brazenly wrote: “Get her pregnant @nelly [laughing emoji] TONIGHT!!” to which the Grammy-winner succinctly replied: “I’m on it” along with a salute emoji.
During his birthday celebrations last week, Nelly was brought to tears by Ashanti’s generous gift. In a video posted to social media, the Missouri native could be seen crying with happiness after being treated to the vintage vehicle, which costs well over $100,000 according to TMZ.
The couple hugged and kissed as a crowd of people stood around them, with fireworks going off in the background.

After receiving the gift, Nelly took to Instagram to share photos of him and Ashanti in the car, which he called the “best gift” he’s ever received in life, with the exception of his children.
“Sometimes all you can say is ‘Thank You,’” he wrote in the caption. “Best gift I ever received besides my kids!!!! You showed out shawty!!! Love you @ashanti.”
The moment came shortly after Nelly spoiled Ashanti for her own birthday in October, blessing her with an icy chain to celebrate her turning 43.
In a video of the surprise, the “Foolish” singer could be seen entering a room full of friends, with her expression turning to disbelief when a jeweler laced her a chain and bust-down watch to match Nelly.
