Scottish actor Jack Lowden got his Instagram fans all in a tizzy when he shared this cryptic photo in an Instagram gallery from a walk up Ben Vrackie on July 25.
The Slow Horses star, who is dating actress Saoirse Ronan, wrote nothing in his caption to indicate an engagement, but his followers quickly honed in on the sparkling rock sitting on the ring finger of the far-left hand in this group shot…
“Is that an engagement ring?” one commenter asked.
Another was more forthright, declaring, “Congratulations on your engagement!”
One person of the same view showed their working-out, writing, “considering that everyone else used their right hand except for the woman with the huge engagement diamond, im guessing you promised to saoirse.”
There’s been no confirmation the hand does indeed belong to Ronan and that an engagement has transpired.
As one commenter reasoned, “The engaged person could be a pal???”
