Bindi Irwin has shared a loving tribute to her late father to mark the annual day in his honour.
Steve Irwin Day is held on November 15 to remember the legacy the Crocodile Hunter left and to work on conservation, following his shock death in 2006.
“To the world, he will be remembered as the greatest Wildlife Warrior,” Bindi began next to a photo of her younger self nuzzling against her dad’s chest.

“To our family, he will be remembered as our world.”
Younger brother Robert Irwin also shared a social media post in honour of their father.
Alongside a video montage of moments together with the TV personality, he wrote: “A day to remember our dad, the greatest Wildlife Warrior on the planet.
“He was one man who changed the world forever and continues to inspire the next generations.”

Earlier, Robert’s new girlfriend Rorie Buckey also shared a photo collage to mark the day, saying she feels “so proud everyday to wear my khakis..
Bindi’s husband, Chandler Powell, also joined the family in honouring his father-in-law.
“Today is a good reminder to appreciate our natural world and all of its creatures,” he captioned a shot of the environmentalist.
“Or better yet, enjoy the outdoors together with the ones you love, just like Steve would.”
Family friend and fellow TV presenter Rove McManus joined the online chorus too.

“Steve Irwin Day and the ARIAs both overlapping today makes it only fitting to share this photo of the great man himself backstage with me at the ARIAs in 2002,” he wrote.
“This world is still not the same without him.”
The famed TV presenter died 17 years ago, on September 4, while filming a documentary on the Great Barrier Reef when a stingray barb pierced his heart.
