Back in April, the Small Press Spotlight showed you a glimpse at The World of Tomorrow, a new series from Uncharted Wilderness Studios. The 1950s sci-fi/comedy series continues with issue #2, in stores now.
Check out the details here:
Continuing the misadventures of Craig Barstow, the burned-out lead actor of the (formerly) #1 sci-fi TV show, aptly named: The World of Tomorrow.
Issue 2 picks up shortly after the events of the premiere issue, Craig wakes up on a strange, new planet, with a strange, new identity; and things are just going to get weirder from here on out.
“If you thought Craig had to deal with some bad problems in the first issue then you’re in for quite a ride in Issue 2, said writer Giles Clarke. “We’re glad that readers had such a connection with Craig and the story when we first launched the series, and we are looking forward to them joining us on the rest of the adventure.”
The original art team returns to bring the story to life:
Line artist Kenan Halilović has drawn for such titles as Legacy and Witch Creek Road.
Colorist Felipe Obando’s work can be seen in Rough Justice, The American Beast, and Sleepwalkers.
Letterer AndWorld Design, the design studio founded by Eisner and Harvey Award-nominated letterer Deron Bennett, has credits that include Detective Comics, Fearscape, and Voltron.
