Rosario Dawson’s role as Ahsoka Tano started in the minds of fans, viewing her as the perfect actress to bring the beloved Clone Wars character into live-action. In honor of Dawson starring in the Ahsoka Disney Plus show, Disney has released a video looking back on her quest to join Star Wars.
Fans have been clamoring for any new information on the upcoming Ahsoka series for Disney Plus, as the show has had a relatively light advertising campaign for a Star Wars project releasing a few weeks from now. However, passion from the fans alone should be enough to carry the series to success, especially since Rosario Dawson owes her role in the show to that passion.
The Ahsoka Tano series is being developed by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. The latter co-created Ahsoka alongside George Lucas, with the heroine making her first apppearance in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
