Julia Roberts celebrates her twins 19th birthday with rare throwback photo

Julia Roberts is celebrating her twins turning 19 with an adorable throwback.

The Hollywood icon, 56, cracked open the old photo albums to wish her twins Hazel and Phinnaeus Moder a happy 19th birthday with a pic from when they were little.

“✨✨19✨✨ There are no words for the joy, the fun, the wild rumpus of life together. 💕” the actress captioned the sweet Instagram tribute.

In the early ’00s snap, Roberts is sitting cross-legged on the floor holding her infant twins in her arms.

The Pretty Woman star shares Hazel and Phinnaeus, as well as her son Henry, 16, with her husband, cinematographer Daniel Moder.

Roberts married Moder back in 2002 after meeting on the set of The Mexican two years earlier. The couple then welcomed their twins together in 2004 and had their son Henry three years after.

A-List couple shares rare family snap

The actress has posted throwback photos of her children before, but has opted to not share pics of them grown up to social media.

Speaking to The Sun in 2019, the actress revealed why her children have limited TV time and aren’t active across social media.

“It’s interesting trying to raise kids in this day because it’s all so new — the pressures, the resources, having the world in your hand like that,” Roberts told the outlet.

“I try to keep them off social media, because I don’t really understand what they need that for right now.”

Last year, the actress celebrated Hazel and Phinnaeus’ milestone 18th birthday with another throwback photo of her and the twins when they were babies.

Roberts kept her birthday message simple, captioning her post: “🌟🌟18🌟🌟 Love you.”

In the candid picture taken from the kitchen, the Notting Hill star held one of the twins in the air while the other was sitting at the bottom of the frame surrounded by toys.

The year before that, Roberts posted a cute selfie for the twins’ 17th birthday, which she captioned with “17 of the Sweetest years of life ✨ 👫♥️🥳” along with lots of cake emojis.

The actress has candidly opened up about motherhood over the years, even sharing her advice to longtime friend George Clooney on how to raise twins back in 2017.

“Nobody’s is there with you at 3 o’clock in the morning, when you’re just going – what are we doing? Where did they come from and when are they going?” Roberts said during an appearance on The Ellen Show.

“But you get through it,” she added. “You figure it out. Everybody does.”
