Many of us would baulk at the price of taking one or two children to Disneyland, so let’s take a moment to think of Nick Cannon, who takes his 11 children annually.
The actor has revealed the eye-watering amount he spends every year to ensure his kids have the best time at “the happiest place on Earth”.
During an appearance on New York City’s The Breakfast Club radio show yesterday, Cannon told the hosts he goes to Disneyland “at least once a month” to cover his all of his kids‘ special occasions like birthdays and holidays.
“To move around Disney, like, I’m probably spending $US 200,000 (approx. $299,985) a year at Disneyland.”
The cost does not just include ticket prices for entry, but hotel fees, personal chaperones to take them around the park and other add-ons
“Disneyland is expensive already off [the] top if [you’re] trying to stay in the hotel,” Cannon said, adding that he used to get free Disneyland trips for hosting its Christmas morning parade.
“It’s not how it used to be. You gotta make reservations… It’s no longer free, and I only had two kids then,” he said, referring to his twins Moroccan and Monroe, 12, who he shares with singer Mariah Carey.
He has since had ten more children to five more women:
