When Dido’s “Thank You” first caressed the airwaves in 2000, it was like a gentle, enduring hug—warm and familiar yet impossible to tire of. Though over 20 years have passed since the song took hold, it remains an undeniable evergreen classic.

Enter the EDM supergroup of Tiësto, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and W&W, who have joined forces to reimagine the wistful anthem for the dancefloor with “Thank You (Not So Bad).” Where Dido crafted an enduring memento of love, the trio churned out a shimmering confetti blast of passion suited for the dancefloor’s most fiery moments.

Their mighty makeover injects new energy into Dido’s nostalgic turn-of-the-century sleeper hit, preserving the song’s heart while pumping it with adrenalized rave sounds. If Dido’s original is a stroll hand-in-hand along a golden beach, the producers’ brisk rework zooms by on a blazing jet ski, showering us in splash of Eurodance euphoria.

It’s not the big room nostalgia fans had in mind when seeing Tiësto, W&W and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike on a new track, but it’s still very much a festival anthem:

Meanwhile, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike recently revealed their long-awaited debut album Rewind + Repeat, which will soon release on their very own Smash The House imprint. The powerhouse dance music duo also released the album’s first single, “She Knows,” a high-profile collaboration with Akon and David Guetta.
